Hello Welcome back! As promised i am here to share my 2nd, 3rd and 4th day after operation all in one post. Stay tuned!
The 2nd day of Operation was not exactly good as i still experienced even more pain.
Thus, nurses from pain team asked me not to bear the pain, just press the morphine button.
I pressed a bit more on the 2nd day and as a resukt felt more sleepy than usual and i almost spent my 2nd, 3rd and 4th day sleeping away until the morphiine was plucked out.
For the days after op, I had to do sponging everyday to kill the bacteria present in me
And i have to apply a cream on my some parts of my body like nasal, armpits area 3 times a day.

Although, i am quite sleepy still got to sponge my body by nurses.
The nurses were very nice. One help me to sponge with soap and another help me sponge with clean water.
I would like to mention a nurse named Sakun.
She is really very nice and i like to thanked her, she makes my stay in hospital not so bad.
She knows i like to have a cup of milo at breakfaast and always make me 1 cup of piping hot milo, makes my day.
She is a nice nurse that would do anything for the patient.

Almost eeryday my routine is the same, spent most time sleeping away.
This is easier to pass time, than staying awake.
Oh so sleepy!

At about the 4th day, the morphine was taken out.
The physiotherapist came to see me and advise me to get out of bed on the wheelchair.
She also advise me to do the spirometry incentive exercise more often to increase the strength of my lung.
She says i need to do every 1 hour as i had an past chest infection.
To move to the wheelchair requires a number of nurses to help.
This is because other than my bandaged leg, i still have a bottle that contains dirty blood connected to my leg.
But i was to sit up whenever i eat, i was advise to sit up more often.
The physiotherapist also asked me to do some leg exercises as my leg was quite swollen.
The first time i tried to move my leg was very difficult and painful for me.
She also teach me how to wheel myself on a orthapedic wheelchair.
It was tiring and totally a streunous exercise as i had to pushed the wheelchair.
It is like driving a car.
The next day, the phsio never come and there was two nurses to help me do the exercises.
There were from KKH but there were very nice and helpful. They do the exercise slowly with me. They were Nicole and Jinlong. They were very nice. I love talking to them. For Nicole, i think i have a lot of things in common with her, i think we have the same frequency. For example, we love the same biscuits.

For nicole, she even helped me cut my nails.
She is very meticulous and friendly. We have aalot to share with one another.
Dun worry, we will go out together once i recover.

Me and Nicole 🙂
(Sorry, Photo courtesy of Nicole again)

For Jinlong, she is also vbery nice and meticulous as well.
She knows Cantonese which we can make as closer.
She is also a very nice person to talk to.
Only Nicole and Jinlong knows my style, like how my leg should be put, etc.
Will upload Jinlong picture once i developed my photo.

OOPS! i dunno i say until which day already!
I think about the 6th day, my bottle was blood was removed and Suresh assistant just pulled it out.
It was very painful and the aftereffect of the pulling sensation is still there after long. Trying to take my life ah. Then later in the afternoon, i was asked to see Dr Suresh at the Orthapedic Surgery clinic at Kent Ridge. Therewant to remove my bandage and inspect the wound, to see what needs to be done.
I was the last case of the day, as i needs more nurses to assist. Dr Suresh came at 4pm and the bandage was unveiled slowly.
The nurses first help me to clean my leg as it was quite dirty after the op.
I remembered crying away, as the adjusting of position was excruciating pain.
After that, Suresh and assistant helped me put a new plaster.
Also, my leg was placed in a Fiberglass cast which makes it hard to do things.
It was very painful. luckily, the nurses there like Nurse Wang was very attentive and meticulous to me and ease my pain.

Back in the ward, i was asked to elevate my leg.
After i was settled, my mum fed me to eat homecooked food she bought but i did not have much appetite. I ate a bit and drank the ABC soup.

Sigh, dunno today will admit a not.
AH….i am tired, will update again. Byes.
STAY TUNED 🙂
