MOTIVATION

The word motivation is a great energy and gift to me to continue my journey despite the obstacles. It is even important in my journey of the completion of my artwork.
My artwork is an important thing to me as I spend a great deal of time and determination to successfully completed it, it also requires numerous supports from my friends and family. They were very supportive especially my sister who brings me downstairs every Sunday. This artwork is also my first artwork after my treatments, the first representative work to represent my journey last year. This artwork means a lot to me, in which my mother do not know. I put in much effort and time and encounter many obstacles before it is finally done.

Why am I talking about motivation?
This is because today 26/6/2013, a group of medical students ignited my motivation to continue blogging. They have made me make this blog post today. They were nice and friendly. I enjoyed talking to them and I even invited them to my art exhibition. They said I taught them a lot, it was really nice talking to each other and glad to make friends with them. They even honoured their promise and brought chocolate pancake with cheese for me, it was yummylicious!! I feel really blessed during my stay in hospital for this admission as they will many people who truly care and I don’t feel so lonely. Below are the people I like to thanks for this admission. It is indeed a blessing in disguise. (Not in order)
1) many many thanks to ”itchy Leong” for visiting me everyday while folding your roses, we shared many things among ourselves and medical students. Thanks for the food you bought, it was yummy!
Although, you are really naughty but you made me eat and i am glad to have you. Truly a gourmet, iI think we should collaborate sometime, you will go find where got good food, I will write the reviews. I ❤ you!!

2) thanks sister Cheryl for her much much love during my stay here, she came here and bought food for me and accompany me for quite long. Thanks for all the food, care and concern. I appreciate them very much. 我爱你!

3) thanks aunt and lb for the food they bought and the thought to come visit this admission. They brought yummy food over, fishball noodles from ion orchard and pizza from pezzo. It was scrumptious and I tried a bit of both. Love you all too 🙂
4) many thanks to my grandparents. Both of them came to visit me despite the not so good weather. I love you, aishi teru!!

5) thanks to YX and to YX mum. They were both very nice, yx brought me foods and magazines to entertain me so that I won’t be bored. They also accompanied me during my meals and chatting with me. Yx mum let me feel very comfortable and safe when I am with her, she was really kind! She bought me many things like an air cooler and bird nest! For this, I am really grateful for the gifts and concern and love.
5) alvina and kar wai! Thanks to two of my 2 great friends and sisters. When I was warded in ward 8b in the past, alvina will visit me everytime during her lunch hour and buy me food and chat with me and encourage me. She gives me many suppor since I was diagnosed or admitted to hospital. For kar wai, she supports me a lot during the time when I was in the process of artwork making and faced many setbacks which made the journey to my completion of my artwork difficult and tough. In the end, with her support and many other friends and family, I managed to complete it and I am just waiting for my art exhibition. (Will release more details in my next post.) Like alvina, kar wai listens to me often and encourage me and gives words of wisdom. I love them.

6) medical students (Sarah, Ziyun and Augustine) as well as the other medical students like pearlie. As mentioned, the 3 above mentioned medical students honoured their promise and bought me chocolate and cheese pancakes. Keep in contact people. leave yoyr contact details with me. Love them for their kindness and support, we was like friends! The rest of the medical student also made me feel less lonely as they chatted with me!

Yummy pancakes!!

7) cabin people. They made me feel at least I existed, this is be because they asked if I am admitted and wish I recover soon. Having people to at least ask about my well-being makes me happy 🙂
8) uncle and mum. Thanks to uncle for bringing the walker and sending me to a and e!! Pls dun scold me anymore for falling down
9) student nurses. For their good company and care towards patients. Thanks for the food though!!
